They are using the soles of old shoes to make basketball or tennis courts of it. And their ultimate target is to produce shoes, which are 100% recycable. What a surprise! So if your interested to hear more about Nike's recycling system and principles you can watch the beginning (~10-20min)of the movie, I mentioned earlier.
