Just a couple of days ago Iceland authorities shot and killed a polar bear, spotted by a 12-year old girl in Iceland, where polar bears are rare to be seen, since they have to swim long distances from their natural habitats in the Arctic.
According to the author of this article, the discovery of this polar bear (and a another one shortly afterwards) “could lend credence to warnings from experts that climate change is creating a more perilous environment for the majestic Arctic animals”.
Unfortunately, more and more often lately, we witness the troubling evidence of global warming reflected on the natural world of our planet.
