Earthship: a new way to live

Michael Reynolds is an American architect based  New Mexico known for the design and construction of eartship. He is a proponent of “radically sustainable living”. He has been a critic of the profession of architecture for its failure to deal with the amount of waste that building design creates. He even lost is Architect degree for few years, than they saw the genius  and stand is amazing idea. Today Michael Reynolds it’s considerate as genius in architectures he travel all around the world to build those famous earthship.

As a citizen of the earth…

I fully have the right…

to harvest water from the sky

to grow my own food in my own home

to harvest energy from the sun and the wind

to contain and reuse my own waste on my own land

to make my shelter comfortable without the use of fossil fuels

and to harvest what others throw away to construct my own home

I am willing to die to defend these rights and to spread the knowledge of how to
achieve them to others.

If six billion other people said this as well…
we would transcend the corporations, the governments, and the federal reserve bank.

We, the people, would always survive.

That’s Michael Reynolds believe…  and i believe on him.

Reynolds calls this practice “Earthship Biotecture”. He cites as an epiphany the moment he realized that any object, be it a pop bottle or an old tire, could become powerful and durable insulation when it was filled with dirt. He has written five books on the subject.

Earthship it’s a new way to live whit our earth. Having a house made whit garbage, aluminum cans can, old tire, old glass…  but the house is 100% Autonomous.
